Gemma has considerable experience in all aspects of family work including divorce, separation, cohabitation and civil partnership dissolutions and is a member of the Law Society’s Family Law Accreditation scheme and a member of Resolution. She has an extensive and detailed knowledge of ancillary relief practice and procedure and regularly assists clients in resolving their finances following separation. Gemma regularly deals with cases involving complex financial matters where there are substantial assets, business interests and farming partnerships.
Gemma also advises on all aspects of private and public law children matters especially in relation to residence, contact, care proceedings and child protection matters. She routinely represents clients in the Magistrates / Family Proceedings Court as well as the County Court.
Most Saturday’s in the winter months Gemma can be found on a freezing cold hockey pitch where she plays for Brigg Ladies in an attempt to keep fit and active. Gemma is also a Director at Tall Oaks Academy Trust in Gainsborough.
